Stuck in the angst of wondering who she is and what she's meant to be doing with her life, Loz - a 25 year-old aspiring playwright - finally thinks she's found the answer to all her issues.
Its name is Dave.
Written & directed by Lucy Coleman and produced by Sheila Jayadev, Lyn Norfor (Emerald Productions) & Martin Thorne (Vandal), Hot Mess is coming to screens in 2019.
Hot Mess made it's world premiere at For Film Sake Festival - Sydney in April, and it's international debut at SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL in May! It will be hitting PERTH REVELATION FILM FESTIVAL in July. More festival announcements to come.
It was selected by SIFF Artistic Director Beth Barrett as one of the festivals must see films alongside Bo Burnham’s Eight Grade and Desiree Akhavan’s The Miseducation of Cameron Post.
It has also been featured as one of the new female voiced films hitting Perth Rev Fest in Mamamia! https://www.mamamia.com.au/revelation-perth-international-film-festival-2019/
